Located in Estonia’s Muuga Port, Liwathon E.O.S. is the largest independent liquid fuels terminal operator in the Baltic Sea rim. Today, the company operates four technologically advanced facilities with a total storage capacity of over one million m³. Liwathon E.O.S. commenced its operations over 20 years ago, becoming a pioneer in the liquid fuels transportation sector in Estonia. Through the years, the company has succeeded in delivering excellent services and setting a benchmark in providing tailored quality solutions.

Projects
LNG TALLINN
Liwathon E.O.S., in cooperation with the Port of Tallinn authority, is the initiator of the Tallinn LNG Terminal project in Muuga harbor, Tallinn, Estonia. The LNG terminal project will include LNG storage, truck loading, barge (bunker) loading, unloading LNG carriers, regasification and the connection to local distribution grids and the Estonian natural gas transmission system. The Tallinn LNG terminal project is favorably located in a major port and industrial hub, and the existing berth infrastructure allows the servicing of any LNG carrier on the market, providing the required utilities and services, and the best access via sea, rail and road.
The project is designed to be implemented in stages, balancing market requirements and regional demand. The first stage includes truck loading, bunkering facility and some storage facilities that will be connected to the local distribution grid. With the addition of regasification processes, an increase of LNG storage (possible up to 250 000 m3) and a connection to the transmission system, the terminal will further develop regional markets such as Finnish, Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian.
